Children trace and cut out a circle. Then they fold it in half, then in half again, and once more. They open the circle and decorate the umbrella however they like. They fold it in half again, and then gently fold two marked creases inward to give the umbrella a 3D shape. They glue the umbrella onto a sheet of paper and finally draw the handle. The finished umbrella has a beautiful three-dimensional effect.
