Snowmen were made of homemade dougholine, prepared by the teacher (the ingredients are given in the order of pouring them into the bowl). From the ready mass children stick snowmen, decorate them with twigs, buttons, beads, yarn.
Material used:
Dougholine:
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 1 cup salt (fine, not crystals)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp (flat) baking powder
- 1.5 cups boiling water (the kind that just boiled)
- A dab of white tempera paint to color the mixture white.
Decorations:
- Allspice or beads for the snowmen’s eyes,
- twigs for the hands and noses
- yarn for smiles and hair
- buttons
- ribbons

First, the teacher prepares materials for the children. On a white sheet of paper they have to draw with a blue marker a semicircular shape of a snow igloo, built of bricks. Then we cut it out - an easy puzzle is created. On a sheet of colored paper - which serves as a background - we draw the same shape (also bricks) with a pencil. The child's task now is to match the individual pieces of the puzzle to the shape drawn on the paper. He glues the individual pieces into the appropriate places - building his own ice house.
