Children paint a toilet paper roll green and set it aside to dry. Then they paint bubble wrap with paint and wrap it around the roll to create patterns resembling snake scales. Once the paint is dry, they cut the roll in a spiral to make a long snake. One end is rounded, and they glue on googly eyes and a red paper tongue. The finished snake curls beautifully and can be used as a toy.
