Paper plate wreath

Paper plate wreath

Children paint a paper plate green. They paint pumpkin seeds red. When everything is dry, they cut out the center of the plate to form a wreath shape. Using the painted seeds, they arrange poinsettia flowers and glue them onto the wreath. They tear small pieces of yellow tissue paper, roll them into balls, and place them in the centers of the flowers. The petals are decorated with gold glitter glue. Two holes are made, a string is threaded through, and a festive bow is added. The finished wreath can be hung as a Christmas decoration.
