Start by choosing a twig shaped like the letter “Y.” Children wrap the middle part with gray string, winding it tightly to form the reindeer’s head. They cut the end of the string and tuck it under the previous layers. Then they glue on googly eyes and a red pom-pom for the nose. Finally, they add a string loop so the finished reindeer can be hung on the Christmas tree.
