Santa Claus made from a pinecone

Santa Claus made from a pinecone

Children wrap an elongated pinecone with red tissue paper to form the base of the Santa figure. Then they roll a strip of white tissue paper and glue it on as the fur of the hat, and a black strip as the belt on the body. On the top, they attach a small tissue-paper ball. From cream-colored paper they cut a half-circle and glue it on as the face. From a round cotton pad they cut out the beard and attach it to the figure. They draw the eyes, smile, and nose with markers. From cardboard they cut out shoes, cover them with black paper, and attach the Santa figure to them using modeling clay. The finished Santa is lightweight and stands steadily.
