The children cut a large triangle out of thick cardboard. They cut green sheets of paper into strips of different lengths. The strips are glued horizontally onto the cardboard, and when the entire surface is covered, the paper ends are folded over. The same is done on the other side, and any excess paper sticking out is trimmed off. The Christmas tree is decorated, for example with paper stars. A piece of modeling clay is placed in a small flower pot. A wooden skewer is inserted into the tree and then the whole piece is placed in the pot. Finished.
