Fold a sheet of paper in half. Mark the center and fold the top into a triangle to make a pointed tip. Fold the sides inward to shape the crayon’s point. Cut a strip of colored paper with patterned scissors and fit it to the width of the white part. Glue the middle of the crayon, then attach it to the colored paper and trim any excess. Fold four narrow strips of colored paper accordion-style and glue them to the crayon to make arms and legs. Draw eyes and a smile. Glue a narrow piece of ribbon in the same color to the tip — it represents the line the crayon has “drawn.” Finally, color the tip. Children can play with the crayon, pretending to draw on the floor or carpet.
